Synopsis

Manny is awakened in his Bronx apartment early one morning when he hears two intruders rummaging around the kitchen. Armed with a baseball bat, he confronts them, only to discover his younger brother, Danny, a ravaged crack addict, and his junkie girlfriend, Jeanette. After a violent confrontation, Manny spends an anguished day attempting to get his brother straightened out.
